    Glad they got Jacob in, did think he was the obvious pick if he wanted it.

    It also means we now have a Saints fan covering the club for The Athletic rather than a Pompey fan.

    Yes but it seems like Dan is replacing Carl again. Although Carl is still covering Man United. I guess it would make sense that they would have more people covering them. Massive club and also a basket case

    Ah yes, sorry. I misunderstood. Carl has pivoted off the United beat and is more of a general broadcaster/podcast host and writer for The Athletic (and elsewhere!) now.
