Klopp has been hospitalised with an illness apparently. No idea if it will prevent him from being on the touchline on the weekend, but regardless of feelings towards him or the opposition, hope he gets better soon.
Agree with this (although I have had this feeling since Poch left). It is just a general apathy/"meh" towards football in terms of competition. There are games where I get excited or passionate, but what that summer did to me was remove the feeling of really caring about the players and the results to a degree. Any good player we have it is now "oh well who cares, he will leave soon" not (like maybe in the Championship years) "we could have a great side if we add to this squad". We have sort of done (for a longer period admittedly) what Newcastle did a few years ago when Graham Carr was their chief scout and was getting lauded for their recruitment bringing in lots of players who were successes. Eventually they all moved on and the replacements started to be worse and they ended up with a squad full of average PL players and went down because they had a poor season. We haven't hit that point yet, but another couple of bad windows and it is real possibility that it could happen.
Agree with your second paragraph 100% and made the point a few times during Rons time here. See Villa also.
Yeah I think their luck may have run out this season. Also Saintmagic got it spot on regarding how careful we need to start being as one or two more poor transfer windows could really see us in trouble.
Would like Gomez and Matip at CB after another good display from the lad for Engerland. As long as no Lovren I'm happy though.
Could be one window being the next one. I firmly believe we'll be in the bottom 3 around Christmas timevso we will need to buy and buy well in January.
He's so good you should take him back, yes I know the 12 month warranty has expired but he's not worked from the start.
Yep I can only see us picking up points against Everton and possibly Bournemouth over the next 6 or so games. I believe we have a good enough squad for mid table so it's now time to see if Pellegrino is right man to accomplish that. Just in case that's taken out of context I'm not suggesting for one minute that we need to sack Pellegrino.
I'd take him back, our strikers might actually start to feel confident playing against him in training. Either that our use him as target practice.
