I agree that we need someone who scores goals. Bit of a no-brained really (no offence!). But what is more worrying is that last season we did actually create quite a few decent chances but just failed to take them. This season, the chances have dried up.
Really? Hmmm ....... I prefer it to football to be honest. And the rules are very straightforward - unless you’re an Aussie
I think that the problem facing the Australian team on Saturday was that the laws were being applied by a Kiwi referee. As such he was perfectly suited to ignore all of their attempts to gain an advantage illegally, or to influence his decisions. And we won, so he must have been a Bonza Bloke
That was one of the most hilarious games of any sport I have ever seen. The Aussies were constantly infringing in the first half and when they had 2 players carded in quick succession after a clear warning the looks on their faces (and Michael Cheika’s) were priceless. Mind you, the ref forgetting to card an English player after a similar warning in the second half must have really pissed them off big time, especially when they had 2 tries disallowed!
and the good news is:- Sunday 26 November 13:30 Southampton v Everton Referee: Kevin Friend Assistants: Simon Beck, Mark Scholes Fourth official: Lee Probert Ooops wrong thread!
