by the vast majority, but no getting round it, if he has a couple of bad games, some bigoted idiots will use his transfer fee as an excuse to get on his back. Sadly seen/heard it too many times at SMS, some still living in the dark ages and not sure the club does enough to identify & get shot of them.

I like the idea of a plain clothes Cortese Secret Service patrolling the stadium, dragging the idiots out and cutting up season tickets.

I find it funny that someone who rants on about kits not being traditional is accusing others of being in the dark ages

This will be good for the Kenyan shirt sales. They really like the colour red over there.

Not really. Delighted about this signing which is a vitally important position for us to cover. Speculation that Nicola would cut his nose off is once again unfounded. And we put another piece of the jigsaw in place...without anyone even noticing.

You are starting to sound a wee bit obsessed with my posts.

Let me get this straight, because I prefer "traditional kits" this means that I must be a racist?

Yeah, probably my fault for taking you off the ignore list. Knew there was a reason I blocked you pointless drivel.

To paraphrase Harry Hill:

Well, Wanyama likes Saints and he likes Celtic. But which is better? There's only one way to find out... pre-season FRIENDLY!

Love the fact they think that Celtic would thump us.

Interesting one that. If you did a player-to-player comparison, how many of Celtic's players would you take on to replace one of ours (bar Wanyama). I'm struggling to think of one, but that may just be me being a little naive?

I wouldn't necessarily say that, but player for player I don't see why there's any doubt that Wanyama is making a sensible move in terms of the quality of the sides.

Being a big club doesn't automatically give you the right of having a good team (see Liverpool to an extent for details). People's mentalities are stuck in history - Saints aren't the same club they were recently, or even in relative memory to be honest. Much as Celtic, Everton, Liverpool aren't the forces they once were (see also Leeds for details). There's no God-given right here, and I'm really hoping the likes of us and Swansea continue to upset the supposedly established hierarchy.
