And that's not even considering our unwillingness (quite right IMHO) to bung agents loads of cash for doing nothing

Not really, I think he is quite happy doing little and stashing his cash

Arsenal in talks with Malcolm (Brazilian winger) and allegedly interested in getting Aubamayang

Walcott’s wages are definitely not the issue with this transfer

BOURNEMOUTH have joined Everton and neighbours Southampton in the race to sign Arsenal outcast Theo Walcott.

The Cherries have approached Arsenal about taking England international Walcott, 28, on loan for the rest of the season.

    Cheers.

They were talking about this on soccer Saturday last week. Merson surprised me when he said that he thinks he should go to one of us rather than Everton.

I really think we are not going to sign anyone to help now! Maybe a kid for the future.
I honestly don't trust this club anymore!
    I am seriously pissed off!!

I don't think it will be walcott but I'm ok with that, not who we need. CAM and striker.

You don’t think that having someone with Theio’s pace, directness and potential balls in for Gabbi is what we need or would not benefit us?

No, I'm working on the principle that we wont be getting ALL the players in this window so if I was being selective I'd not choose Walcott. A playmaker type to replace Davis in the starting 11 and probably more a target man to hold the ball up and play Gabbi through ala Pelle is what I'm thinking. just my opinion, not the only answer to our woes. To my mind Boufal, and Sims, Tadic and Long should be able to provide enough pace and balls from out wide.

What are you thinking we need?

I don’t disagree with you, but I’d also say we need a CB and a wide player. I think we have two good options for CAM or a player in the hole with Boufal and Tadic but they haven’t been played there regularly.

My thought on Theo is that it appears he is a player available. A player with known qualities at this level (park injuries for now). A player who would benefit us and one I wouldn’t want to be helping a rival between now and May.

I don’t know who is available in those other positions.

    Walcott <ok>

He's exactly what we need. Doesn't look like we'll get him, but I'd be delighted if we did.

We also need a playmaker, but they're not easy to find - Zidane may be available.

Ok, I'll not be disappointed if we get him back. I'll not be expecting the earth, but I wont be disappointed.

I'd look for someone a bit more robust in the centre. Boufal and Tadic both work so well out wide overlapping with the fullbacks. Like you, I don't know who's on the cards. Not my job to know I guess.

I still think Boufal could be a revelation if played centrally, in the hole. He runs directly at people and they don’t know which way he is going to go and he can shoot.

Have we played Tadic left, Boufal central in front of two DMs, and JWP right? That sounds like it could play to Gabbi's strengths.

That’s what I would do, as long as the 3 can change around. After all, all our goals in the last 2 games have come from JWP popping up in the box.

To play to Gabbi's strengths, first we have to play Gabbi.
