Well everyone. On the potential eve of a big money investment takeover, I'm reminded of something I said some time ago to fellow Lads fans after several years of jibes and digs from our friends and neighbours up the road,"We WILL have the last laugh". I salute you all, lets remember friends and family no longer with us that would have loved all of this. Here's to the cold wet leauge one nights as we sat there thanking "why do we bother", well my friends....... the punch line is coming. I raise a glass to all of you. No matter what transpires, if we reach the dizzy heights of the PL or it all goes tits up, we are Sunderland til we die.

Very well said. I always think of my poor grandfather who spent his entire adult life grafting in the great northern coalfield. He died of prostate cancer a few weeks after the Drumaville takeover back in 2006 having just endured a truly miserable 15 point season. He never got to see the fantastic journey we went on with Quinny and Keano.

Hope he’s looking down expectantly waiting for a glimpse of KLD with a red and white scarf above his head.

He will be mate. I feel into imperative that we keep the memories with us.

FFS got mega excited about 6 pages ago, just catching up now.
I used to love Carling premier when it first came out. Is it as smooth now as it was then? Keep me eye out for it.
Home bargains in Consett got none left.
I dont think they will be getting anymore in either, so I would definately try somewhere else. Definately not the Consett one, no sir!

It's probably been said today but I've been working so if it has, sorry for posting old news. But KLD has put a picture of the Mackem Dictionary on his Instagram story. I'm not sure what he is trying to tell us....

yep.....old news. lol
