For what it’s worth, heard from someone who works at the club KLD is already spending. investment gone on the pitch. Bought some machinery for it and has started plans to get the pitch sorted through a company.

As I understood it...Donald's cutbacks ie sales of kit and reducing staff all helped to screw the pitch up.

KLD was not happy with the state of affairs.

What I do not know is how much Donald was paying himself... anybody know?

Ya right Mate, the cut backs Donald made is massive, he literally cut the club back ready to sell, whole club needs a face lift from the grass up and KLD is already starting it,

the lights are back on for the grass, first thing he did, already looking at whole new drainage system for the pitch aswell

Delighted to hear that. The public cut backs about rotating the plants and stuff seems like it was just scratching the surface. To do what they have done with the ground staff and pitch beggars belief tbh. Who knows how far they have gone with maintenance of the SoL or AoL. The comment from Johnson about the batteries in the clocks spoke volumes to me. The list of things to do must be a mile long.

Get the speakers sorted first Is a must for me <laugh><laugh>

The bloke who got made redundant and his lad signed for the mags after slagging the club off, kitman was it?

If they made him redundant who does his job now? Was something I couldn't understand, he should have been back as soon as matches were back on.

Reckon he may have had a chance to come back, not so sure now after his son going to the mags over it all.

I said it a while ago, it's horrific. Can't understand a word they say.

Edit: which was great when Methven had the mic.
They were getting fixed yesterday. I work in town and go for a walk at lunchtime. Went round the stadium yesterday and music was blaring. Groundsman came out of stadium on tractor pulling a barrowful of snow, I asked him what they were doing and he told me they were fixing the sound system.

Fixing the sound system by shovelling snow? That's a first.

I would rather they sorted the team out first.

Luke Onien irons the kit, puts it out, does the team sheet and mops the floor after the game. :emoticon-0126-nerd:
I agree with your point though, one of the first things should be to re appoint Cookie.
