It does need announcing but they must be confidant of passing all the EFL tests otherwise they wouldn't have sacked Parkinson (and does anyone really believe Donald was behind it?) and started setting up the backroom staff such as Speakman to run the club.

I agree. My view of Rodwell is quite good to be honest, he’s been trying to get **** done whilst the club has been ran by absolute morons.

He’s fine by me to be honest.

Eventually someone has nailed it.

Being positive is an effort because you can be seriously disappointed and constantly attacked by the very vocal pessimists.

Being negative is easy as long as you remember the mantra,

"No one will be more pleased than me to be proved wrong."

It's the easiest get out clause in the book.

Whatever happens I’ll respect him purely for being on the bench on Saturday, when he could easily have waited till Monday.

Hatred is clearly the wrong word. Rodwell has not covered himself in glory and was clearly just a surrogate Donald so therefore was bound to attract dislike at the mildest.

As for maybe being wanted by the EFL, I wouldn't be putting too much on that mind. It is a pitiful organisation which has shown itself to be usless time and again.

But Rodwell is not the main problem at this club. Hopefully the man who is will be sidelined in the near future, and then ,maybe booted into touch forever.

Why was there uproar about him supposedly speaking to Donald? The very next quote pretty much confirms everything’s happening to me

Short is getting pelters over the road now for being taken in by Donald in the first place! Going from one bitching session to another over there .I’m giving it a miss for a while.... embarrassing!

There is no indications he is involved in hiring any of the new people only LJ having a chat with him and Rodwell in the 4 hours he spent at the club on Saturday.
No indication whether it was before or after the game even.

I will reserve judgement on LJ in time, he has inherited a complete basket case of which is none of his making

As me mam use to say patience is rewarded

Based purely on his interviews and nothing else, he seems a pretty good motivator man-to-man.

I’m still adamant Griggs problem is entirely mental so they might work out.
