I've posted very little mate tbh, just tried to keep people cheerful and optimistic.

I believed this was all sorted in July and told close mates, so the last few months have been a nightmare ...

... I thought FPP would still be involved as I was told Fuhrman wasn't unwilling to talk to Sartori. I hoped FPP would still be involved but it looks like they just wanted their money back if Donald stayed.

Hopefully we can all soon get back to just be bunch of people cheering on their team, and club.
Not expecting a quick fix either but like in an interview they say where do you see yourself in 5yrs time. I would like our Saturdays back at the SOL where it was difficult to get a ticket as we were always sold out enjoying watching decent football.

I must have heard the same as you in terms of them still being very keen as of last week. But to be fair we've all said for ages that the club was regressing and we really needed them to **** or get off the pot. One leak from them about wanting to buy the club and the fans would have massively ramped up the pressure on Donald. Instead they've sat and sat. Not sure if they just hoped Donald would run out of money and they'd pick us up for a song, but it was always likely that someone else would want to buy the club given the potential.

If they've waited too long then they've only got themselves to blame and its ****ing annoying. It sounds like they had massive plans for the club, seems daft to have let it get away because they thought they could get it by default when that was never really likely

Just throwing this out there, but if they've been talking to Sartori and Dreyfus (who some reckon will form a Company to effectively own 80% of the club), could the discussions not have included a future investment by FPP into their new Company, which would mean they would not have to deal directly with Donald or Methven again?

Pearson is the massive stand out candidate by far. Just think the new structure might not suit him. He seems to me to be old school. FWIW I think that's what we need but I'll be pleased if we just have an actual bonafide plan for once.

A test for my "source" ;-) who told me only Johnson and Cowley have been interviewed so far. He tells me this is the team tomorrow;

Burge, Mclaughlin, Wright, Flanagan, Hume, Power, Scowen, leadbitter, Maguire, Grigg, Embleton

4-3-3.

Hes not wrong so far to be fair to him
Would love to know what’s wrong with Sanderson

I’ll give you all of that. In his defence he’s probably sticking with what he knows as he’ll be very aware that he’s not getting the gig full time. Add to that he didn’t have much time to do anything different with the players at his disposal. I can’t remember who said it and I’m paraphrasing as well, but football players are generally pretty dim and asking them to do or try something different 48 hours before a game will only confuse the ****e out of them.
I know he isn’t dim mate. He has ran his own businesses before at a young age too. He’s a nice lad who has looked after his family and kept his mates from his youth. He was surprised when he was offered a role by Parkinson and it hasn’t worked out the way he wanted it to. He’s a relatively inexperienced coach who has found himself in at the deep end.
Good Luck to him.

Do you think anythink will be announced today? I need to stop refreshing the page
Can’t see anything being announced today. Journos saying no press conference lined up but I suppose an announcement could be made and presser held later just think it’ll be next week now personally.

I never said he was dim. I said footballers in general are a dim lot. And even then I didn’t even say that. I was paraphrasing someone else.

I'm not against that line up if true
