As if Sartori is going to go through all this just for things to remain as they are ...

... honestly mate, it makes me wonder how people think.
It’s sad mate, KLD has the richest mother in the world a step dad who Runs a company with investment worth 7trillion
A family company that’s is 45% owned by a wealth found worth 800b
But Donald and cm from Oxford are going to be calling the shots

Rodwell gets a lot of stick but he was just doing what Donald told him to do on a shoe string budget, he’ll have sartori/kld and a new SPD to answer too now
Sartori hasn’t done anything so far to convince me he’s interested. KLD is an unknown entity, that’s the element of wait and see for me.

Reactions: As You Were
Just to clear last few posts up for people confused, I’ll draw one of my entity ownership things I have to do for work (I work in M&A for a big 4)

note - this simplifies things as I believe the individual shareholdings are actually by separate companies that the individuals hold 100% ownership of.

Sunderland AFC
V
100% owned by Madrox
V
80% owned by Newco
c15% owned by S Donald
c5% owned by Methven

Newco
v
50% owned by Sartori
50% owned by KLD

It’s a very important appointment I agree, but for me the next manager is even more important for where we are right now, we must improve dramatically and start picking up points straight away or it’s another year in division 3 which can’t be allowed to happen.
Well I don't think this will go down too well but I don't agree, we should build a team of young players who are capable of making the step up to the championship and the premier League and any player over 25 should be let go. Alternatively we can just buy a new team in the championship, probably end up in the bottom half of that league for a few years, take 10 years to get back to the prem anyway.

We have to not worry about just this season, everything should be about building a team now and promotion should be irrelevant.

After the last three and a half years in particular I find that hard to do. Might have felt better with a full takeover and clean start

No matter what happens there'll be a downside.

We'd all like to be Man Utd ...

... whose supporters are currently up in arms.

'Terrible football, wrong players, wrong manager, wrong CEO, wrong owners, ad infinitum.'

This for me also, I’ve already said get the sd in and define which direction we’re going in before naming a manager, I still don’t think it’s too late to mount a challenge for promotion this year, hull look like they’re leading the pack but they’ll have a few bad results as they’re not that good

But by the sounds of it our new manager is going to be someone brought in because he fits a shoe string budget with our first choice (poyet) apparently too expensive.

I found that helpful, thank you.

Or Celtic.......Going for their 10th title in a row. Give these clubs, lets just say the last 10 years of what weve had (not to mention the previous 50) and see where the loyalty of their fanbase is then. A barometer for all lifes tribulations is measured on how people act when the chips are down, well I have no doubt that we are the biggest under achieving club in world football, but we are still there. Clubs like Man Utd and Liverpool are only as big as they are because of the demise of clubs like Sunderland, Aston Villa & Everton

I wonder if the new manager will be someone totally left field. Dave Jones has previous at oxford with Pep Clotet and nearly Craig Bellamy.
IF Schwarz is involved possibly Ljungberg? Or maybe Zenden? Zenden played for us and Marseille, been an assistant at Chelsea and PSV. Think he was youth team coach aswell.

Surely if it was one at the top of the betting they would be in by today?!?!
