Julio what’s your agenda? Well done you managed to find the one Lincoln fan who doesn’t like Cowley. In fact that post was probably bullshit. If not then post the link. He took them from the Conference to League One for God’s sake, how could any fan have anything bad to say about them (and they don’t).

Cowleys are a case of "give us full control" and whilst at Lincoln they hawked themselves around various clubs(wba/sheff wed) looking to get into the hotseat but did little due diligence on the basket case that is HTFC and got their wish of a championship job without really doing their full professional managers apprenticeship.........knew it would end in tears.
The Championship and non league footy are different worlds and the cowleys have their experience in the latter. The cowleys fall out at HTFC was an issue of power plus dire visuals on the pitch(stone age footy) and a complete failure to deal with highly paid footballers that wouldn`t stay behind for detention.
Currently the brothers are 1/2 favourites for the job with skybet and betvictor so they possibly must know something?..cowlys know rodwell!
Best of luck in getting the right man in the driving seat but you could do better than the brothers.

FFS! Being taken over by a billionaire and letting a failure like Rodwell have a say and chosing from this type of managers... I'm more and more inclined to think Dreyfuss will invest a little to help his mate Sartori and that's it.
So far away from the FPP plans...
Really hope it's just smokescreen and KLD comes in and puts his stamp while laughing at suggestions of Cowleys, Johnsons and Cooks.

Its obvious the takeover isnt the big deal we were being fed by posters on this board when madrox will still have 60% running of the club. Fook knows what the posters on here were fed but it certainly aint the exciting times we were led to believe. And now we are going to be peddled with this cowley double act whos biggest achievement is just avoiding relegation to league 1. Fooking shambles

Genuine question- why would he laugh at managers like that? They've shown ability and they would see Sunderland as a good career move. He's undertaken a degree course in football and will know all of the ins and outs. People within football don't look down on them. Would it really be sensible to overspend on a big name when the same result could be achieved by appointing young (well, not Cook perhaps), hungry coaches?

FFS, we arnt trying to get from the conference to league 1 the point of the post was that that was their level. 12 months time with these two, we will be in the same boat as we are now. Some aafc fans are unbelievable.

Yeah SAFC fans like you are unbelievable writing off managers before they have even come in. We are in League One. Big Sam isn’t coming back, Keane isn’t coming back. Grow up and get realistic. Stop slating people for being confident about a manager coming in who has done a good job in his previous roles. You lot sound like you want us to fail just to vindicate yourselves. It’s pathetic.

I wouldnt mind knowing that if what is expected to happen now is how they were told it would pan out, with madrox still owning the majority of the club and rodwell (donald) appointing managers who will be out of there depth within a few months and we will be sacking them off this time next year. If it is we have different ideas of what exciting times are.

The league is dreadful. Take Hull out of it and everyone is as bad as us. Thats why this managerial appointment is huge. We just need to put a small run together and we would get into the top two. We are ****e but had we played that game against Blackpool and won we would be 4th two points off 2nd
