Really hope it's Poyet with a sporting director. In the event it goes tits up with Poyet or he moves on to bigger things, we can replace him with a manager in the same mould.

One of main problems has just bee chopping and changing from style to style with no planning at all.

I would give Poyet time to embed his style, it won't be easy with these plodders but we might actually get to see a possession based, attacking team using our good younguns like Embleton, Diamond and Neil alongside Gooch, Willis, O'Nien and co.

I'm very much hoping that with the plan we might have in place ,and the resources to fund it,there won't be anywhere bigger for him to move to....at least not until we've won a significant trophy.:1980_boogie_down: Gonna take a while,mind!:emoticon-0102-bigsm The long term, steady as we go is the approach we need. And we,as fans, must remember that there will be little setbacks along the way,the graph of progress isn't going to be a straight upward line. Patience will be required at times. We'll all need to buy into the new owners philosophy to make this work. Let's hope we get to hear what that is soon.

He's still favourite so hopefully we get news by the end of the week on both takeover and new manager.

Pretty much the same on here, though innit? Although, admittedly, I've done it myself. The only one that hasn't been dismissed as ****e is Paul Cook.

Anyone think Paul Cook is ****e?

I don’t know much about Cook but I don’t think he’d give us the instant excitement that I think this appointment needs. People have become apathetic and in my view we need an appointment on the scale of the Roy Keane one in terms of galvanising the club. Wether or not anyone on our radar would be universally popular though is a doubt.

Watching this with interest but a serious question for you and those at WMS that has been avoided on every occasion when its been put...... It is well documented that both RR and WMS were given information that the club had or was about to be taken overby FPP. ALS had the temerity to even print these
SunDELLand T-shirts.
I would like to ask you directly, as you must know this being a integral part of WMS, just Who from the club(the actual person) who informed you that FPP were about to become the new owners?????? Anytime today would be appreciated.
I know for a fact who it was but realise the question isn't for me. If you just want to know who it was I'll happily say. If for whatever reason you want confirmation from Gareth then I'll stand aside.

Why don’t you say it and see if he agrees

I can certainly see that point of view. I suppose to some extent people's opinions on what's exciting and what's not will vary but it giving everyone a bit of a lift would be a positive move by the new owners.

They finished 4th in his last season. Lost in the play offs. He was dismissed that summer. That **** is it? I'd snap your hand off to be 4th in the championship.

Think he was in The Championship 5 years with them finishing 6th, 4th and 3rd in three of those years. He did finish 20th in his 4th year in that league so wouldn't have finished 3rd the next if he was here mind as we would've sacked him.
