Just realised I’ve had 2 posts over the road deleted from the takeover thread for having the audacity to call out Bobs BS. I wasn’t aggressive in the posts and didn’t use any ‘ too strong ‘ of any words.

He's a sad little fella tbh mate, feel a bit sorry for him.
He never seems to have any opinions of his own, just disagrees with people about theirs and likes to put people down.
Seems a bit of a loner, never has much of interest to say but posts a lot.

Didn;t know you were in Corbieres. I love it there. Used to stay at an old colleague's gite in Montserat. There's a fantastic vinyard next door called Chateau Ollieux Romanis. I remember one day my now wife and I went there at about 11 to look in the shop and the guy behind the counter was bored so he gave us a free tour and then let us "taste" all their wines. We had to stumble home 5 hours late completely bladdered having not paid a penny. Out of guilt I get my old colleague to get me a case every time she goes over

We're 15 miles from there, yes a lovely part of the world ...
... some excellent vineyards as well.

I used to read the forum several times a day and have went on for years but never used to post. I asked a question the other night about Bob Stokoe and when he left the club as I wasn’t born until early 80’s and I had people basically accusing me of showing him disrespect because I was a mag! There’s a few decent posters on there still but I think they are outnumbered by idiots. I can’t be arsed with it. I think i’ve been on once the last five days. Maybe it because I’m getting old but i just find it really childish on there now. I love a bit banter but most things on there aren’t even funny. Just keyboard warriors. I much prefer it on here. Yeah there’s the odd disagreement but most of the time it’s a decent read with people who you can tell are genuine Sunderland fans.
