To be fair your post wasn’t worded very well and you riled a lad who was probably on the lash (he’s on holiday at present) and has a short fuse. So don’t take it to heart.

The "Furnham" thread has been delteed over there, was half way through reading it. Rubberface was getting some grief for saying Furnham is still on the scene.

Why is that place (Rtg) such a mess these days.
People constantly calling others and ruining most the threads.
Some of the mods are power mad and banning people left right and centre and more often than not the wrong people.
Deluded Bob allowed to spout utter **** and riddles all the time and the mods leave him be.
It used to be a great board but now is shocking. I remember the night Bent flew up...unreal ITK info that night.
Sad what it is now

Daft thing is he was only keeping people up to date with what was being said on this thread, should be no harm done.
It's supposed to be about football and SAFC.
Yet some people never bother to mention either ...
... just endless sniping at other posters.
But they're never banned, strange and, as you say, gradually destroying the forum.

All I said, in response to someone wondering if Fuhrman might still be involved, was that I believe he is.
I agree, it used to be brilliant. Funny, good banter, could be serious when it needed to be, good characters posting, knowledgeable, informative, not the clique ridden, agenda pushing mess it is now. If you don't carry the main agenda pushing groups line, you're hounded at or called a mag. There's no sensible civilised discussion, it's their point or nothing.
I've got to say though, it's been in decline for ages, I really started getting really disillusioned with it during Di Canio's time and the aftermath of his sacking. The way some of them on there went on was ridiculous and are still pushing it now (Sessions today with a song wanting Di Canio back). And it's got steadily worse since then. I've visited it less and less over the last few years and only went on today after seeing stuff about the Fuhrman thread on here. I've said before, it's almost a mirror image of this forum. You can almost feel how they want things to go wrong for the club just to prove a point. Give them a few weeks after the takeover is done before they start to find something to use against the new lot and probably moan that it's not FPP or Red Bull or Dubai Investment Capitol or whatever that's took over.
Just been reading an article about how a financial expert has concerns about a wealthy family giving a 22 year old billionaire a football club as we're not an "xbox game". It's already been reported that the consortium has plans to restructure the club from top to bottom with a clear vision and interviewing for a DOF. So basically a non starter of an article.
