tbh it's the third time he's done it and only the first time I've posted what he's said, as it was the first time I thought people would be able to read it and not get their knickers in a twist over it.

Obviously I was wrong.

I can see some logic to you posting it, just for comedy value, however there is an etiquette about posting PM's and also on behalf of banned posters. Don't take some of the comments to heart, I'm sure that you won't be doing it again :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Haha on juans live insta story he put on a hour ago there all in masks in a room talking a funny language, so unless the masks are muffling string mackem I doubt he is on a beach in roker

We have to change our mentality , let the opposition worry about us not the other way round . That is probably the reason we are better away from home , teams set up differently apart from us when we are at home thus handing the away side the initiative by not attacking them and not going for the jugular , we are so slow in our build up they have ample opportunity to filter back and get their defensive shape . The front players are far too slow and we are too reliant on Gooch and Hume to provide the spark and when we do fashion chances the other players are on their heels rather than their toes to put chances in to the net Saturday emphasised this particularly Will Grigg . Like yourself I found PPs analysis amazing we were trying to stop them playing instead of concentrating on what our side should have been doing - scoring goals , winning games , the mans lost the plot .

Absolutely bang on. Whilst our build up is as minging as often as it is, theres still no excuse for some of the sitters that they've missed this season.

We don't get in behind teams anywhere near often enough and this allows them the confidence to stride on to us at the SoL knowing we pose little threat in behind. We're chronic on the counter too, it normally consists of Maguire doing a little spin back on himself and laying it off to a full back as the oppo defenders sprint back into position like the Alamo. Rinse and repeat. I ask this question - other than Gooch and Hume is there anyone else in the regular starting XI who seems capable or willing to take a man on?

Its nowhere near good enough for SAFC in the third tier.

I won't be passing on any more. Made a judgement that a one off post with his point of view would be okay. People should be grown up enough to read it and ignore it if they want. And frankly it's given a few of us a giggle.

Kindly **** off yourself marra.
When he messaged me last week over a comment I’d posted about him I mentioned it on here and people actually told me to post it I’d held back cos I didn’t want to be a channel for his opinion

out of interest what is the background to your username?

There was a time when I was at the top of my game mate.

Fit as could be, bodyguard on the French Riviéra, own powerboat, picking the kids up from Nice airport in the company helicopter and flying back for 25 games a season.

I've never been a bighead but I felt a bit smug so was Smug in Antibes on here.

When I left Antibes I thought it was honest to change my name and Smug in Mansfield didn't sound convincing <laugh>

By coincidence the panto we went to, that year, was Puss in Boots so it stuck.

Sorry about the long ramble mate, got all nostalgic there for a minute.

I remember Smug in Antibes from BBC 606, how many years ago was that??

Thanks for that, nice story. Great to know background.

You're right about Mansfield not having the same allure :D

For anyone that cares (that's everyone, right?) my name comes from the only other forum I frequent - the football manager ones. I used to be called Southern Mackem on there, but then when they migrated servers I lost my account so called myself Mr Adam (no idea why). When I joined here I couldn't decide which to go for, then relised I hate Mr Adam, then relised we are all Mackems - so went for the hybrid approach. :D

I loved being 'someone to know' in the south of France because I'm just a daft lad from Durham ...

... having world famous people under my control was a laugh.

But I'm happier rolling around the ground, with strangers, when we've just equalised away to Walsall.

HAWAY!!!!!

What's all the drama folks? Thought this would've been a time of joy for the club and it's fans, but seems to have kicked off? Apologies if I'm wrong.

It's nothing. I foolishly posted something NQD sent me privately (that I don't agree with, but found an interesting take). People didn't like that I did that.

It's over and won't happen again.

Hopefully we get some further leaks soon.
