I agree with this he will have to come in a police bubble with the feelings people have for him now. This greedy c@@t will never be welcome anywhere near sunderland or anywhere we play. In my opinion when he took money out of the club he took it directly from the supporters. If he thinks supporters will mellow over time the fooker is in for a shock.
Jimmy hill went to his grave knowing that

Thank you kind sir. Appreciated. Remember sending that across a while ago.

This has the potential to be very good. Still not the absolute clean slate but better than initially expected.

Big plans, big ideas, let's hope it's executed.
First and biggest thing for me is the manager situation, need to get that right from the off

don't expect immediate. Has till January
Which actually makes sense. Who knows, new owners and a bit of positivity could motivate him (longshot i know)

If they have another candidate lined up that will give them time to assess the squad in the background and possibly identify targets for the summer transfer window

They should already have this in hand, should be planning at least 2/3 windows ahead at all times

When it first broke you seemed pretty down about the potential deal. I take it things have changed since then cause you sound alot more upbeat

Not really.

Initially it was always a full blown buy out. Every share. That's what we all wanted due to the sheer incompetence of current lot.

Unfortunately, didn't materialise.

Then share realignment, it's still that but it's swayed heavily into what I call 'favourable'

So it's loads better. I think people will be surprised to be honest. Just need it done. Been a long road.

Even tonight. Whilst there are positives , unfortunately there are again other issues, I knew Dean Matthews rather well, an amazing photographer and a family man. Took some great images of our city and he lost his life to covid.

Just shows that while some argue the toss on here, there is ALWAYS more important things to worry about. Something for some to thing about.
