Also, any official takeover news/confirmation i would say now more a few weeks away than days. (This will now give them the time/space not to rush things)

Joint decision by seller's/buyers to not cancel meeting but to postpone meeting. Keep an eye out for when its rearranged...

You would think they would have to be in before the January window if they are to have any sort of impact this season.

I'm picturing a scenario where he's kept on until the end of the season for continuity, but has zero say in January signings and is 'encouraged' to integrate the youth players he's too conservative to play. If he plays along then he gets a generous payoff and a glowing letter of recommendation.

If the new owners wanted to spend they could improve the team a fair bit by paying off contracts, I think we'd win the league easily if we did that and with all the quality back room staff I assume they'd bring in we'd be set up perfectly for next season in the championship.

I'm dubious about the calibre of manager we'd get if we sacked Parky tomorrow, but a fresh start in the championship...different story.

I think he’d be only to pleased to play along if offered the chance. This is the biggest job he will ever have and but for Donald’s stinginess he would have been nowhere near getting it in the first place.
It will be interesting to see how things unfold but we need resolution on the takeover quickly as the uncertainty isn’t helping anyone at present and we are getting away with results in the League at the moment.

Maybe you're right though. Alternatively, there is no takeover and they just keep stringing it along and telling us it's getting closer and 'not much longer to go now.'

Parkinson potentially going is an interesting one and a huge risk a quarter of the way into a season. A new management team will take time to bed in and get to know the players. Under Parkinson, whilst not pretty football, he has us in a good position. The players may not adapt to playing a new system straight away and there’s the risk we would drop off as we did initially under Parkinson. Big risk.

It's a tricky one.

There would be a lot of pressure on Parkinson after a takeover. Maybe he and the squad won't rise to the challenge, meaning a firing / new appointment issue midway through the season.

Might be better to appointment someone new straight away. Start the new era with a clean slate.

I don't get this stringing fans along as the supporters have picked up on it. The lies they have told have caught them out, so how long as owners can they keep lying as they are now in an untenable position with the fans. It will be toxic when fans get back if they are still here, and the fans will be back

On the playing front, l believe without evidence that Mcgeady being sideline has had an impact on the players, l suspect he has been talking to the players and there may be a split in the camp. Just guessing even so Parky has to go, he is just not strong or influential enough

Please keep up the good info you and others supply, these are dark days in more ways than one and the info is well received

Thinking negatively is just a protective mentality ironically it's how our team currently plays out if fear of what could go wrong. I'm sure most of us want to change yet a lot of people are unwilling to change their own mindset to one that is positive and focuses of possibility rather than fear.

My mindset on this whole thing is Que sera sera.

No, not Wembley cup finals but just let it all play out naturally. We all want these parasites away from the club but they’ll be itching to hang on to some small percentage for future cash.

I trust those posting info are doing so in good faith and they have consistently been confident of a deal being completed eventually. This was always likely to take time.

After the relentless flak I've taken it's no surprise Prehab, Wheatsheaf, etc have all said they've had the same which is sad.

They've been called vermin and I was called a liar on RTG yesterday, a year after I stopped posting.

No one's forcing anyone to believe what they're saying, the don't even believe an official statement from the CEO.
