agreed, but I’m also not sure why anybody thinks anybody would be making it up.
People say they’ve lied about the takeover before but they clearly weren’t lying about FPP, they just ****ed it up. Sure, they then lied about ****ing it up, but they were clearly trying to sell.
why on earth go through an elaborate ploy to pretend you’re messing up another takeover? That would make no sense.
So I agree that Jones wouldn’t allow them to go through this charade. But even more to the point I have no idea why anybody would anyway.

Club have cancelled tomorrow’s fan meeting saying takeover talks are advanced and it’s too soon to talk.
This tallies with the ITK intel that said yesterday was the original planned agreement date but has slipped slightly.
New ITK rumour tonight that all still on track and significant plans in place.
and the club, for the first time, have acknowledged the takeover through an official club channel. And described it as advanced.
The club have just officially said the takeover negotiations have advanced with the preferred buyer.

I've posted on RTG for around 13 years, lurked here now for a few month but its the best place for info currently! Hello all. Hopefully we're nearing the turning point for this rudderless club. New men with a new direction and a clear plan of how they're going to do it. It can be hard as a lads fan to let yourself believe at times but as ever its the hope I can't stand. Ha'way the takeover!
