    Just fed up of people telling me “I’d love to be wrong”..:

    They’re basically negative so they win either way. They’re either right and we don’t get taken over. Or they’re wrong and everyone will be too excited / pleased to remind them they were deniers.

    Agreed. I don’t really understand this steadfast assurance many fans have that the current regime must be lying and pulling the wool over our eyes regarding a takeover. Yes they’ve lied about things, but the takeover last year wasn’t one big elaborate lie, it just fell through because of Donald’s greed. Why are people so desperate to believe they are going for one long con, when it wouldn’t really achieve anything? Fans are already past the point of no return and there’s no real evidence that the owners have lied about a takeover happening in the past.
