Aye, was gutted when it went tits up last year because this sounded class. The whole area getting redeveloped while the club was hopefully back on the up had me well excited. Hoping that it turns out to be a time blip and that plan comes together sometime soonish.

The plans were extensive and basically meant FPP involving the council, Uni, local business, etc, taking the credit and reaping the rewards.

The general concept was that it would all feed on itself with outside speculators getting excited, putting money in, which would, in turn, attract more.




This next bit is just my speculation based on what a friend told me, he has a financial interest as I mentioned at the time. One wish was for Sheepfolds to become a Tech Park with a much improved Metro station, riverside apartments and bars, dining and a 'mini-marina'. It all sounds a bit of a stretch but money generates money so who knows..

At the time we were laughing about pulling a boat onto the jetty, having a few pints and getting the lift up to the Metro station and the ground.

I was absolutely floored when it all fell apart.

I made this point to you on RTG marra. Do you think blaming Sunderland fans for the breakdown of the takeover is acceptable? He labelled me a mag because I had the temerity to question Donald's competence or lack of to be more exact.

Well....you never know mate, Legal and General have stuck £100 investment into it, if them plans attached are circulated to the right people maybe O'briens on the phone now to his mate Furhman

Do you think it's acceptable to bring an argument, onto here, from a different forum.

If you want a thread all about Bob why not start one and see how many people actually care.

How old are you? Seven? I would tell you not to bother but it is providing such great entertainment watching old men behave like children, please carry on.

Bob knows nothing by the way. He is a total johnson as are his disciples. I have thought about opening an account on RTG just to post that but thanks for saving me the effort.

aye, I would never do it myself gilly, I think since Bob is backing the compulsive liars up, backtracking as much as them, that is enough to win an argument anyhow.

Personal details I agree with. Depends with a pm; if it's something that could get someone into bother then no. If it's just someone playing silly buggers then yes, it's fine. Having multiple accounts and being spam is a far bigger ****'s trick imo.

Again I find myself pulled into an argument I don't actually went anything to do with, yes Bob has privately got loads right before it's happened.

He has also proven unequivocally to me in other ways he has direct contact with our owners, I suppose the question I'm sure even Bob doesn't know is can you trust what they tell him...
