I think he needs to say something.

However if he's previously been given info, that he's passed on to the supporters, I don't think he should be pilloried.

I don't think some of the comments about him being 'taken for an idiot' by Donald are fair. Plus I don't believe the info came from Donald, Barnes has said he hopes he'll soon be gone. There's a lot of things being said, by lots of people, and Barnes is in a difficult position.

Agree...in ways when listening to him talk on commentary or total sport I think he wishes he wasn't told anything as he has been held slaughtered from people on the socials...been told hes been played / hes just a puppet etc. But as said he needs to give an update as it was him and his 'source' that really started these forum takeover threads!

I'd agree with all of that.

I would say, however, that I was saying Fuhrman was 'on the move' before Barnes spoke so my comments weren't just piggy-backing his as some like to claim. I was told Sartori was being considered as a partner for example. That may not work out but it's viable given his wealth and interest in football.

There's definitely something going on at the club and I believe Donald knows the game is up.

Spot on, all ties in with Nick Barnes 'unequivocally' stating that Donald will no longer be at the club.....I know other people have said he will still be there holding on but I cant see it tbh. If he was to stay in any capacity I dont think he would have gone into hiding for so long

Even if I hadn't been told he would be going I'd believe he was going.

This is a major loss/profit situation and he's doing absolutely nothing. If he was intent on staying, gaining promotion and reaping the rewards he'd be involved.

He's not.

Where’s that mention ending this season? Bullshit you’re a wum, oh and that articles from May.
That article is there to put into context the difficult situation clubs are in financially. There is a good chance at the EFL meeting in November if clubs don't get a bailout...the majority of club chairman will vote to curtail the season. (Like they did earlier this year).

Look m8, stop digging, So you post and I quote

Bigconcerns EFL clubs 1 and 2 will vote to end the season if a bailout is not found.(November).

Nick Barnes source is Stuart Donald. (Further update from Nick Barnes expected in next 7/10 days).

so that is now your belief of what may happen because of a May article. I get you want attention but find it another way man.

Sorry, mate. Thought this was a forum where you post info and discuss/debate. Obviously got the wrong place.

Very interesting... But stupid

One for the older members of the board :emoticon-0138-think

Used to like the young giggly Goldie Horn (Freudian slip) well I was only just a teenager at the time
don't think you were along in liking her, happy days indeed.

Mind I've said for ages, they need to look at this hopelessly outdated 3pm black out. Let every game be shown and the TV revenue would increase massively. The PL clubs would likely agree to feed more money down to compensate the smaller clubs in return. As far as I'm concerned, the people who actually want to watch a match so will go to Fleetwood would go regardless. The armchair "fans" who just want to watch Liverpool wouldn't watch a small club instead. Hell, there's so many streams nowadays that if anyone wants to watch any game they can. Currently if that's what's keeping clubs afloat it's failing miserably. They need to look to do something new and that's an obvious one. Imagine if safc could get revenue from every away game, even share it with the home club, there's loads would pay for it. I just think its a pathetic rule. If I can't get to a Sunderland away game I'm not going to watch someone else, I'm streaming it, or listening to commentary

ive said for years if sky could sell me a season ticket just to watch Sunderland games I’d pay it. I’m not interested in watching anyone else. If the club could do it then even better.
