Not sure what they'd do admittedly, but can't see them curtailing. We must be getting, what, about 8000 people streaming our games legally? There or there abouts at least. That's £40k a week (plus our away stream revenue so probably about £70k in reality ). Given that a lot of our newer players will likely be on about £2k a week it's covering a good few players wages. Take that away and we'd still need to pay their contracts, and I don't see where the money would come from. It would go from several being in trouble to pretty much all, whilst not helping anyone. I mean, if ten clubs go bust I'm not sure how you complete a season, but they'd have to try. Of course what we really need is some form of bail out, hopefully they can find some solution somewhere. If I was relying on the PL stepping up i wouldn't be confident mind.
He's not.... but as a shareholder of Safc, the biggest club outside the PL by a million miles they're probably just bigging him up.
He's officially a non-executive director but whether he's more "executive" now is the question. Like David Jones is also a non-executive director but is very clearly an executive director at the moment.
