Just get a load of Monaco players on loan - we just pay the League 1 average wage and Monaco/Juans father in law pick up the rest. Easy to get round this salary cap.
I asked that question
Can we get loan ins and negotiate wages or fees

The Rybovolev craic must be bollocks mind, he can't surely be the president of Monaco and have a share in us?

Only if both teams were in Europe would there be an issue. Which were a long long long way from that.

Watford owners own Udinese and Granada. Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig.

Man city group own about 9 clubs but in Europe they also have minority share in Girona in Spain.

You can add incentives that don’t count towards wage bills, like cup progression, promotion, goals scored the list is pretty big, such as the 3 year contract, if we are in the championship we guarantee you x

even so, he owns Cercle Bruges and it wouldn’t stop him owning us. Can only own one club in UEFA competition but if that becomes a problem it will be a nice one.

Yeah but he'd only be an investor. He wouldn't be the owner. For that he would have to be the majority shareholder.
