Yes, in theory if a club was covering salary we’d be sweet. So we could pay a loan fee then the club pays their wages.
Sounding more and more positive. Just hope any final hurdles can be overcome. We really need to be getting on with planning for the season and making decisions on managers etc. Normally it means a change in management if any of the lads who are close to things have heard anything on that front?
Once the deal is signed off would It still not have to go through the efl owners test? No idea if a change in shares / passing of shares onto a creditor would bypass that process?
I’m excited too lads and I hate to be a killjoy but it’s nearly 10pm. I think it might be worth getting some kip and seeing what comes out in the morning. **then ignores own advice and refreshes every 7 seconds until 2am**
Watford owners sold Granada but still own Udinese. It becomes an issue if both enter European Competition but it can be worked around. Few years back Abramovich had to ‘sell’ his chunk of CSKA Moscow. Not hard for him to put someone else’s name on it.
I'd love it if they came in, dropped a nuke and I ended up dancing in the streets after some glorious champions league final victory. I'd even take the **** off our lass in the unlikely event my ugly mug ends up on the cover of time magazine necking on with some sweet nurse. However I'm not going to hoy my toys out the pram if it doesn't come off, I'm still willing to roll my sleeves up and support the lads in these little skirmishes to gain ground. Doncaster away last season was a great day out.
Unless Sartori does what SD did with him... Takes 100% of the club temporarily whilst the others go through the fit & proper tests.
