Are you allowed to confirm a timescale @Smug in Boots or would that be a give away toward who told you
my own thoughts on this are that SD and CM know they got a club/business with tremendous potential (ie: 3rd division club, already set up ready for premiership football that just needed setting back in the right direction) the problem being, they have no real clue how to do it and they thought all they had to do was throw minimal money around.
obviously this has not worked out for them, the fans have turned and no one is happy...i think they both have tried to keep some sort of stake in the club as they know that if/when it gets back to the premier it will be worth ten times their buying price...the 'big players' are in town now and want them gone and i honestly believe this is why everything has taken so long.
i have no reason not to believe the info that lads are posting in good faith and that we will soon have new owners, maybe fpp have decided there was too much pussy footing around so decided to 'call in' the loan in the way of shares to make sure they had a massive say in which deals to look at and how they will pan out (ie:getting rid of current owners completely), obviously this is pure speculation on my part but it would be a good move for the club long term imho.

£100 million including purchase costs spent wisely is easily back in the Premier League.
You then have a guaranteed income of £200million a year on top of enhanced kit deal and sponsorships.
A billionaire investor, or group of, would bite the living **** out of that.
I genuinely believe we are the most viable and ripe for the picking club there is right now. Top class facilities, blind loyal fans and a clear gateway to at least doubling your money in between 2-5 years.
Its business gold. Dynamite. IF we get the right football people in.

Aye was about 70% cheaper in Turkey mate, I considered it and thought **** that.
It’s a big job and you do it once I wouldn’t get a pikey to build me a house.

Folk were offering each other out last time I looked, pathetic behaviour, supposed to all want what’s best for our mutually supported club, problem over on RTG is that the mods let the wrong things slip and allow wums and mags to roam free, I was a mod on here for a good few years as was my late father, doesn’t get stood for, aye a thread might go off on a bit of a tangent for a little while but always comes back and that’s because a lot of us have a genuine affection for each other and shoot the breeze while waiting for the next thing to get our teeth into, much more civilised
