Err. The town is now having many great improvements mate.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree.... apart from a few infrastructure developments I still see people unemployed, companies going bust... if Nissan pulled the plug the town would be f ucked. The general feel of Sunderland has declined in the 30 odd years since I left the area... but if you’re happy

Rybolovlev, Furhman, Dell and the FPP boys. Richest club in the world

sounds too good to be true. For my own sanity I’m not getting excited about this. Last time was too much stress!! We were so close
Yeah that's what rubber face has talked about I think, despite all the self depricating we do we are the best bet to buy a club today. Where else are you going to buy a club that can fill a 40k stadium for less than £30 million.

This is our chance like fingers crossed we don't **** it up.
We won't **** it up as you say...However Donald might! he has a track record.

Has there been any actual evidence of the 'Micky Gray consortium' other than what he's said.

I know I'm not in the NE but I've seen more proof of flying saucers ...

... Mrs Smug flung one at me last night when I wouldn't log off here <laugh>
Did she connect?

Town centre is a disgrace. All charity shops, pound shops, Primark and Greggs.

The only thing that has been suggested as to why he could be involved is due to how quiet he has been on the matter as if he’s signed an NDA

You’ve more chance of a dinner date with ET than finding evidence of an MG consortium mate!!

I can't fathom Storey and have no independant info about him.

I don't accept this theory that he's after publicity because he's had virtually none.

There must be a part of him that believes he can gain control of the club and that's a worry.

I'd much rather have the cool invisible guidance, of the likes of Fuhrman, than the rabble rousing circus of a bearded version of Donald.
He may not have had a lot of publicity from this, but you can guarantee that he’ll add it to his list of ‘achievements’, the day he almost bought SAFC.

Some people will argue, to the death, that there's been no takeover because they'd hate to have been wrong.

If I'm totally wrong but it works out best for our supporters I'll be dancing in the street.

I never post a thing for my own ego, I have better things to do in all honesty.

Tbh I think the town centre is about to become better than it ever has been, I am in my early 40's, the pubs and nightlife were brilliant when I was a teenager / early 20's, got married and went to live in Hebburn mid 20's....from then everything went massively downhill with the shutting of VAUX which seemed to take a lot with it. We have waited 20 years for the Council to start spending on the City and the Re-generation of VAUX and there seems to be money getting spent everywhere - It seems to be a massive push to bring Sunderland into the 21st century and Im pretty impressed with everything thats going on tbh. Hopefully the Football club is next
