The club and town need a shot in the arm as both are dead on their feet and punched drunk.
Couldn't agree more, As some know I have lived away from the region for many years, and every time I come back I see the decline in the Town and God knows the absolute melt down in the football club, it breaks my heart. If any prospective owner wants to see what happens to the Town when the football club is doing well then look at 1973 and even (to a lesser degree) during Peter Reids time...the place was buzzing. Sunderland deserve better, I pray that we get the owners who will get/embrace the region because whoever does, will enjoy a real "magic carpet ride"

Don't worry, Boris promised not to forget us.

Thing is fpp can block the mg deal so it might force donalds hand. Someone said fpp have now stepped up as they could risk losing the club which makes sense.

I've had two different people tell me that.

One is a Sunderland friend I've known for 20 years who's involved in the media.

The other is someone unconnected with Sunderland and in corporate law.

It's a fact that I know these people and I trust what they say, neither need to impress me as they're both more 'successful' than me. I could make life easier for myself, and only message Sunderland fans I know, but I won't be bullied into silence at the behest of a handful of internet weirdos.

Thankfully they don't feel comfortable, on here, so people can speak more freely.

If you follow MG on Instagram and Twitter, it doesn't look at all like he's embroiled in takeover talks with the club recently like. He looks like he's away on a family holiday.
I saw that and my first thought was, wonder if he's purposely shown he's away to demonstrate he's not involved in the talks and has stepped aside as Donald wouldn't deal with them if he was involved, as alluded to by a poster previously.

I'm sure people would appreciate a little clarity from Gray.

If he cares so much, about the club, it's well being should rank higher than his ego.

Sadly I'm not convinced that's the case.

I agree and mentioned in a thread somewhere that if the clubs talks with FPP in whatever guise is so far advanced then he should back off for the good of the club. We're unlikely to get any backers better than them with the plans they allegedly have.

The only clarity needed from MG is to confirm that he is not involved currently in any consortium or takeover. Same with Storey who is a fantasist.

I can't fathom Storey and have no independant info about him.

I don't accept this theory that he's after publicity because he's had virtually none.

There must be a part of him that believes he can gain control of the club and that's a worry.

I'd much rather have the cool invisible guidance, of the likes of Fuhrman, than the rabble rousing circus of a bearded version of Donald.

Well he or his backers made an initial 34 million payment to the F1 team but then withheld all payments after that. There is money around him but he’s all wrong for the club and his links up the road are a further concern. I wouldn’t worry he’s not in the picture at all anyway.

One day we will be talking about plans for the club rather than worrying about who may or may not be in the data room. I can’t wait. Some posters hinted that FPP had plans for the wider area, it’d be good to finally learn about some of those.

Well as much as I have a lot of time for you it's you that's started this back and forth in a bit confused I have to be honest, maybe my intention of actually being humble enough to reference my source of information has come across to you as an attempt to steal some limelight from others, I can assure you that's not the case, I'm happy to let this be water inner the bridge but it would be a mistake to think this is me rolling onto my belly so you can rub it.

I'm sure we can just forget about it and move in if you're in agreement.
I don’t want this place to get anywhere near the state PF has turned into, but I need to get this out in the open. Your post has far too many commas and not enough full stops. You’re an absolute disgrace.
