Has Barnes said anything in last few days as I've not seen or heard anything?

don't you find it mad that we went from nobody willing to buy it to 2 people having what we can only assume is a bidding war for us... in a matter of a week from the RAWA meeting

I know there's been groups interested in us almost throughout Donald's time at the club. I believe there were 3 groups seriously looking at us just before Covid put a stop to things, so it doesn't surprise me if 2 appear quite quickly. One (Storey) seems to just be using it for a bit of publicity, and one seems to be people who have always been involved. I know the loan was FPPs idea so it doesn't surprise me that they, or an individual from them, might look to do something with it, it was always offered with a purpose in mind imo. Gray seems to have been looking to put something together for a while as well. I think when a club is so publicly up for sale its not too strange to see various groups having a go at getting a deal done

If you follow MG on Instagram and Twitter, it doesn't look at all like he's embroiled in takeover talks with the club recently like. He looks like he's away on a family holiday.

He was absolutely silent on all matters but has recently started posting personal stuff again. It may or may not mean something.

Thing is fpp can block the mg deal so it might force donalds hand. Someone said fpp have now stepped as they could risk losing the club which makes sense.

Yep, they aren't daft. A loan you can convert into shares, and which gives you the power to veto any other move. Even if Donald preferred another bid, unless he has the liquid cash to pay the loan off (which apparently has an early repayment fee), they can just say no.

It looks like he just means he’s on holiday. First post I saw recently was a bit cryptic but the rest are just holiday pics with his lad.

It was me that posted what bob had passed on to me, I can absolutely confirm that he knows pretty much everything that's going on at the club currently, I've been on the SMB for over 10 years as well and it was only a few months ago I was publicly calling Bob out as being full of ****, anyway we have since spoken over the phone and I now know he is "itk" fair enough he talks in riddles like lol but absolutely no one should doubt where he gets his information from.

He basically asked me to pass the message on about it not being a full takeover, from what I know there's plenty of people would argue that point with him since the figurehead of the club is going to be leaving most fans will see it as a takeover, either way that's just definitions.

I'm hoping that by the end of this week we should know one way or another if it's going to happen.
Regardless of how ‘anybody might see’ it as you keep referring to, Bob has clearly stated that it’s not a takeover. Correct?

I really believe it's absolute nonsense that Gray is anywhere near owning the club.

He's turning into our new Brian Clough ...

... the manager we almost had but never did.

Aye that's what I mean, just doesn't look like he's fronting a takeover of a club which is rumoured to exchange hands this week. But then I don't really know how it all works I suppose.

Its like FPP and Gray are having a fight and FPP can veto whether Gray can hit them or not

Yea Bob sees this as new investors coming in alongside people already at the club, plenty of fans will see Donald leaving and see it as a takeover. It's not really that important is it? Let's just hope we get this deal done and we can actually dream of an exciting few years ahead.

I've been told, point blank, that 'FPP' wants a takeover soon and no one else has a prayer.

If I'm wrong I'll happily apologise but this is what I'm told and I believe it.

I've no idea where all these various stories, about buyers appearing, have come from but some sound totally fabricated.

This is a massive deal where serious money and integrity is required. Some of these people seem to have little of either.
