FWIW this is all that he's posted about it. The thread has been merged with the main one so can't see what he called his thread title - but I assume it was something like "Deal off" otherwise his post makes little sense on its own.

All down to greed by SD & CM wouldn’t accept 15% of any profit on next promotion and survival of first season in premier league.

The lad seems to only post once in a blue moon and it's nearly always "ITK" stuff .

When talking about the takeover, Dave Jones and the other board members of Sunderland should really be privy to nothing concerning the selling of Madrox Partners. I dont understand how Jim Rodwell talked up last week about the exclusive party we are in talks with. He shouldnt know anything about it in all honesty, why did he say he signed an NDA - should be nothing to do with him, Jones, Sloanes, Fox or Lowes who have nothing to do with Madrox Partners

Completely disagree with this. The board will definitely want to know what's happening , they are running the business and managing the stakeholders so have to know surely.

Its been merged into the main takeover thread on there, so it'll be on the last two or three pages (not sure if we're allowed to link to SMB on here).

Bit sceptical because I've previously heard (months back) that Methven was very keen for Donald to sell, whereas his post suggests that Donald and Methven have scuppered it, so my initial thought would be that it isn't true, but worth adding it here just for the discussion!
Well that’s just guff if he’s said that mate, Methven is the one that’s pulled the whole thing together. So I doubt he would have scuppered it.

If it's true I wouldn't be surprised to be honest. I would turn it down as well.

In all honesty who would accept 15% of the profit in the first year in the premier league (edit - or championship) when we will probably lose about £60m trying to stay up. There won't be a profit.

So if the lad is accurate in his descriptions then I don't blame SD for turning that down, but I suspect the 15% figure, if true, is a more complicated package than that described.
