The terms of the FPP loan, similar to many many other loans throughout the business world will be that monthly MI will be provided to them on an ongoing basis. They'll know the financial position as well as anyone else within the club. DD would be little more than a quick and easy update for them.

He's ordered a hit on the three stooges and then when they can't pay the "investment" back, takes the club for himself, redevelops the surrounding land but leaves off the monorail this time........?

Reading massively between the very large lines, putting 2+2 together and getting 222 that reads to me that FPP are in no hurry to be repaid their loan and part of FPP may be willing to go it alone in terms of club ownership. Of course, the likelihood of the above being correct are similar to my chances of winning tonight's lottery. However, if that became reality the whole situation would take an unexpected twist as I'd be throwing my oar in for a seat on the board. :emoticon-0100-smile

That's a ****ing blinder that like although tbf to the lad, he came out with a few.

Going off what you and @Bob Cheval siad on the accounts thread, it seems to me that Don has massively gambled on his own abilities and come up short, hence him being backed into a corner. He hasn't got the cash to sustain us, the fans want him gone, and it looks like that furnham loan is just another noose around his neck.

He was on a massive ego trip and it took a wrong turn imo and hopefully we get a new onwer who cares about the club and what it means to the supporters, which is why I really hope the O'Briens get on board somehow. Local MLF's who are very succesful business folk, just what we need.

All I wish is that any new owner actually has a clue and a longterm plan on how to run our club.. With enough financial clout to stabilise and progress us.. And the sooner the better to finally get rid of Donald.

Thats the problem mate, people like yourself pass on info for the benefit of other SAFC fans, if the info turns out to be incorrect then who cares, people should take it with a pinch of salt.

it’s pretty sad the amount of trolling that goes on, look at the **** you got for the FPP info, absolutely no need for it.

To be fair I've mentioned why the info didn't seem consistent. Between rubberface and prehab the information is different because prehab hears things from the club and rubberface from one of the groups trying to buy the club. It stands to reason that they'll hear a different account of events.

In terms of why rubberfaces info "changed", as far as I can tell Donald doesn't want one individual involved in the bid and it seems to me that he was using Storey as something of a "Storey is the front runner because you won't drop him from your bid". This seems to have changed because Storey took it upon himself to actually come to Sunderland and court attention. At that point a lot of questions were being asked of the club because he isn't seen as a credible bidder. That's when they decided to leak to journalists that he isn't really being considered. Of course that would change things with the group they're in discussion with if they can't use him as a "go along with us or he'll get it" figure, hence talks resuming. Info and situations can change quickly in situations like this, it doesn't mean he's lying or making any of it up.

I've read loads over the years that I think is unlikely. Thing is, I just take it at face value and let people decide if they want to believe it. Any time I hear stuff about safc it's generally from RAWA. If I've heard something from them that is confidential, and I saw someone saying they're itk with information that I know to be false, I'd probably call them out on it because I don't like people taking the piss out of our fans. If I don't know for certain that they're wrong I'd just let them crack on, because otherwise some take it personally and might choose not to post at all, and if plenty do want to hear what they've got to say then that seems a shame.

He's only after the Thomas Hemy painting, he reckons it's priceless and £37m is a snip. Once he's got that he's giving the club back to the fans with the O'Briens and Hays running things. Don't know how we didn't spot this before, it's obvious :emoticon-0136-giggl

Now then folks, a bit sick of the SMB of late I'll always post on there but when it's bad it's really bad, just a room full of people shouting and not listening at the minute.

For what it's worth I think we'll have a new ownership structure soon but that's not through being told it's just what I think will happen based on what we've all heard.

We'll have new owners soon mate, I'm sure of that ...

... and they'll be more organised than this current shambles.

They'll know they'll have their work cut out getting the support behind them.
