And I was "having a go" because I'd just joined and the first thing I saw was somebody posting an alternative opinion to what people wanted to be heard and he was therefore being accused of being somebody else on a wind up.

And I'm pretty.

1. He doesnt post opinions, he states them as facts - classic wum tactic- that's why people respond unfavourably.

2. Errrr. . . ok!

Very optimistic that if its only just gone to EFL
It’s interesting how little info has been released about who’s involved SD takeover was announced at the same time as it went to EFL for ratification. Took them ages to finally approve it. By the time it goes to the EFL everything should be agreed so if we are that far on would be hopeful of an announcement soon

Won't last long mate, this board has a natural balance it always returns to.

I've heard nothing about the takeover talks today but, tbf, I've been too busy to ask anyone.
Cheers mate. Just been catching up on things and I’m hopeful we’ll here something soon. If people are talking about It going to the EFL then it’s done. I suspect we are a bit away yet but fingers crossed

Definitely. You’d like to think any announcement wouldn’t be reliant on the EFL checks being completed, but solely on once all contracts are signed. Unless of course they want to keep it quiet for tactical transfer reasons as Smug has heard might be the case.
Sounds about right From all the bits of info people are receiving seems like it could be a complex deal with a number of individuals involved. And I hope not but haven’t ruled out SD keeping some kind of stake. Only thing for certain it’s not storey or he would have well and truly told us by now

My only definite info is that Fuhrman is 'on the move' but not physically.

I was also told, by a different person, that Fuhrman's mates are still involved but I can't get any confirmation at all for that.

This is much different than last time, no one is talking.

Well I'm taking the silence a s a good sign that the people involved know what they are doing.
With the proposed German takeover 3 years ago they kept their heads down and no one knew who they were
Still don't

Absolutely the opposite to the way SD acted.
When he took over he couldn't wait to get his name out there.
Likewise last year he was like a big kid telling people that the deal was done only for it to fall through

Maybe this is the way professionally run takeovers are supposed to work

Just been chatting to someone linked with the Mags, work related.

I commented on the 3 decent signings, he said they’ve got 320k week wages going out on Benitez signings that never play, which is killing them.

Lazaar, Murphy, Saivet, Aarons and another I can’t recall.

****ing madness that.
It’s even worse when you look at our salary cap. Thats all our wages done in in 2 months on five players The premier has lost touch with reality.

I always wanted to go 'home' but life got in the way ...

... might still happen one day.
When I got out after 22yrs... the wife had a great job... son had a settled school for once... so it was 2 season tickets and the train from Peterborough or the A1...
Plus I love stopping at the seaburn Hotel... brings back fantastic memories of Whitburn.... and the best ⛱ in the world
