KLD statement said no further sale of shares to a third party buyer. I'm probably wrong, but a third party would be anyone who doesn't own shares already? Or,would someone who is already connected to the club...i.e. an existing Board member..not be considered to be a third party?

third party would mean anybody that doesnt own shares already

It's really not. Not in this instance. He will be expecting to pay his share and has an invite to games. Will have absolutely zero decision making powers or be listened to in any capacity. Wasn't anyway.
Will his boy still be on the board of directors? Vumbaca was it?

How come? If I owned 19% of a company and had no say, I’d be pretty pissed.
I reckon, and others have said this is likely, that someone else will be taking the 19% soon. The KLD statement about no 3rd parties imo is just to stop people giving any credence to the likes of TFT. Probably go to MLD. I cant really imagine any reason for Donald to want to be involved and keep 19% so reckon it is about finalising some loose ends on that purchase.

I am not normally one to speculate but reading KLD’s carefully worded statement, specifically, “Our ownership group has been consolidated and there will be no further sale of shares to a third-party buyer”. It confirms to me what I have thought (hoped) for a while. That KLD has played Donald and Methven like a salmon on a line.

To put out a simple statement like that which says much more than its words, KLD must have everything sewn up and water tight in his favour.

I am convinced that any delay in the sale of shares wasn’t Donald and Methven procrastinating or playing the market, but KLD having a bit of sport with them, knowing the hook was well in and he already had them in the net. No one in their right mind would buy 39% of a football club and have no say over future direction.

I reckon that Donald and Methven have been desperate to sell all along and KLD has waited until they have paid the parachute money back into the club through matched funding. I also reckon that’s why KLD has left Donald with 19%, to make sure he fully reimburses the club

Methven was out of his depth and Donald desperate to sell in order to purchase Eastleigh, but KLD has them by the short and curlies and dancing to his tune.

I hope to god I am right

He didn't need to say that ...

... but he did <cheers>

I may be wrong but I thought that SD had to match any investment made by KLD respective to his shareholding. How the **** is Arthur Daley going to manage that??

I might be talking bollocks of course!
