what are you using mate? Im on duolingo and have bought a couple of books, but don't mind admitting I am struggling to pick it up
I struggled with Duolingo but determined to keep trying. Downloaded language transfer (free) which works to a different system and isn’t as visual but while only on lesson 4 it does make a lot of sense.

I'm using duolingo as well mate, started on italian for 3 weeks but swapped to spanish.
I get frustrated as I think I'm doing OK but they when you try and put sentences together it gets complicated.
There's not many times in one day do you ask where the bathroom is and tell someone you have a brown suitcase.
I tried putting a spanish film on to see how much I could understand, other than when they said hello to one another I was screwed.
I will succeed though as my wife told me I wouldn't be able to, best motivation possible

Problem with the announcement pending is the Times article last week, it's got all we fans thinking it'll be done by the Plymouth game. If it's doesn't happen before then, people get anxious doubt it'll happen etc. What made the writer from the article so sure it'll happen before then? inside info? guess work?

It'll happen when it happens. However that article put a timescale on it. Things change as we all know, so if anything, it was a bold statement to make.

I was hoping they'd put a definite day on it to focus all parties on a point in time ( like a completion date in a house move) and maybe we'll get a nice surprise with an announcement tomorrow, but all sorts of deals are delayed at the moment for all sorts of reasons connected with Covid, so I'm not too concerned. I think all the important parties seem to have confirmed that it's under way, so I'm sure it'll conclude fairly soon.
