Our fans have been flapping none stop since the takeover was rumoured. I'm surprised people aren't concerned with the Alverez decision. You wouldn't expect it to be an issue but I did expect the forums to be flapping. All very quiet.
The Alvarez situation is very strange to me... it was rumoured in 2018 it was to cost the club £6m, which Ellis Short had agreed with SD to pay half. I think SD said they had to keep the money aside for it, so it wouldn’t really affect us now. Don’t know why it’s been dropped recently, unless the case has just gone through?

I thought it was rumoured around the time fpp were linked last year that safc were gonna sue the Dr in the case. I was thinking fpp top Lawyers must have thought we had a good case. What a total mess we made of the whole thing.
The case against the doctor won't be heard until late this year, so it'll be nearly 2 years since they started it. The thing is the agreement was water tight, and I can't see it going in the clubs favour. It feel to me that Donald and Methven are trying to throw the doctor under the bus so they can claim the money back that they have to pay out. It's a mess caused by Congerton and Byrne that we're still picking up.
All I can say to that is "Mange Tout, la Creme de Menthe".
