I don't like the term 'typical Sunderland' but we do seem to string things out.
As far as I know the EFL have completed their checks so it's down to the exchange of contracts.
Winchester has been signed but medical formalities have delayed the inclusion in the squad tonight.
Perhaps, as supporters, we're just too desperate for news after all the crap we've endured.
Just a thought but maybe Donald has cut the staff right back to the bone, there's no one to do the admin side regarding Winchester and with the takeover, KLD is getting all his staff sorted before he announces. We could all do with the uncertainty out of the way but maybe he'll wants all the background staff in place before all the press stuff starts up

Let's hope he provides the 'ammo' for the forwards and help us to much needed firepower.
With a decent forward that can actually control a ball and hold it up would improve our performances and results.
Interesting that Matt Millls said that he nearly signed for us but there was a disconnect between recruitment and the club. Maybe that’s why our transfers take so long to get over the line
