I was told, and posted, that Louis-Dreyfus was hoping to use the Fleetwood game to announce his self- appointment to chairman, as the new owner. That obviously can't happen and it's pointless stringing it out any longer, as I've been told yesterday and repeated today. The EFL have OK'd the ratification and will double check it by Wednesday. (Again, this is second hand info.) After that it's up to the club how to handle things. Sadly a press conference, personal appearance or whatever is unlikely due to the new lockdown. So it looks like being a recorded message on the club website and links to the media. What could possibly be our best ever takeover might start off very low key ... ... perhaps that's for the best.
The next couple of months in store for this country I’ll take low key as well. Just wait until he hears that roar from The crowd though when we eventually get back .
Exactly, we don’t need all the fanfare, just an announcement that it’s 100% done and he can get down to the business of turning us around and into a team we can be proud of once again.

We've had all kinds of announcements and fanfare ... ... I agree with you mate, let's just get down to work. Sadly I've written off this season now, it'll either collapse of we'll have too many games to catch up. I just want a proper transfer window with no panic buys/sales, a proper pre-season with friendlies that benefit us and a clean sweep through the club. Donald has lost the trust of the supporters, all momentum and a fair few fans ,,, ... we really need to get those very important three things back asap.
Dunno if any of you on twitter but someone asked Nixon for his thoughts on Methven, Donald and Rodwell allegedly bragging in the boardroom at Northampton about how much they're making from the sale to KLD. Obviously may not be true, dunno if it's been mentioned elsewhere?

I'm suspicious about that actually happening. I've seen the tweet and it smells to me of someone stirring. 1- his tweet is the only time I've heard this, nobody backed it up, only that they could believe it happened. 2 - how would he know unless he was there? It doesn't seem to be widely discussed or mentioned on Northamptons board or other media outlets. 3- why would Rodwell be bragging about how much he'd make out of the sake? Unless he got done shares given when he was appointed CEO, he has no shareholding in the club to profit from. I hate Donald and Methven as much as anyone on here, but unless this can really be backed up with evidence it seems another example of someone stirring and causing trouble to push an agenda, just to whip up more animosity from the fans against them.
I agree, I'm sceptical and not seen it anywhere else either which is why I asked if anyone had heard anything.
