He’s isn’t a knob marra. We can all be arseholes at times , but he certainly isn’t a knob. I know him, through others, we don’t mix in the same group but I see him regularly. He’s rightly ****ed off with the state of the club and it’s his passion for it, that shines through.
It isn’t easy being a Sunderland supporter but even worse living on Tyneside. Now where we are from, the whole estate when we were growing up was something like 90% Sunderland fans, it isn’t now and we can see first hand the effect that Keegan has had for them and these clowns for us. The place is awash with the worst type of vermin, we have those that have changed colours like the fat bastard beefy and we have those that don’t go to games and flounce around and hate everything that is red and white.
He’s a great lad, has a smashing family, knocks about with the best branch out there and flies the red and white flag through thick and thin. And for him, it’s been mostly thin, he wants the same as us but has heard different to others, that’s all it is.

You make him sound like a canny lad, I have blocked him so wont have to put up with his negative **** anymore. Next time you see him give him a kick in the nuts from me

Has anyone got any intel on when takeover announced then?

Obviously gone a bit quiet what with all the other changes.

I have mate, but only from one person.

What I usually do is get similar info from 2 or 3 people, then I can blame someone else for blabbing by saying I could.

I've had very little info for months then a flurry in the last couple of weeks.

If it's any help I can say that everything I've seen so far makes me happy.

The club will be run like Liverpool ...

... absent owners, football people in every position and a proper structure in place.

The people in the admin, ticket office, hospitality, etc will see a big difference.

One of the first changes will be new carpets and I'd put big money on that.

Well perhaps because he is. Christ I am negative as **** when it comes to Sunderland and who can blame us. I cant wait to see the back of SD and CM, it can’t come soon enough. It’s ****ing dismal and whilst things have took an upturn on the structure front, they still have to play with the lazy, thick as ****, spineless ****ing lot that Parky and Ross have gathered together.

Here’s a question.

I’ve read on here that many think SD is holding on to his 15% so that when we get sorted out and are back where we belong he will be able to sell for a good profit.
That’s fair enough but here’s the question.
Is he expecting Dreyfuss to come in and splash out 20-30million but not have to contribute anything himself.
He can’t expect to cash in on Dreyfuss spending huge sums.

For every £10 million spent he should pay £1.5 million (and CM £0.5 million) otherwise it’s totally unfair.

Anybody know how this works?
I’m sure whatever investment KLD puts in, other than his initial stake for his share %, is in the form of a loan to the club. This removes the need for share % adjustments although it can be done this way but the loan route is more straight forward.

Most if not all of Ellis Short’s investment in the club was in the form of loans, interest free iirc.

Very diplomatic, still kick him in the nuts!

We need to know their vision and the make up of the company. Mainly we need to know the status of the three chancers.
We don’t need to know anything. We would like to know though. It would be nice to have an official announcement from the club saying the French lad is in charge but there’s nothing to say it has to be done.
Anyway, look at what’s happening. The SpD has already alluded to the fact that different people are calling the shots now. Lee Johnson has been appointed manager. It’s obvious, in my mind any roads, that neither of these are Donald or Methven appointments.

Oh happy belated birthday @janey, I try not and post it on facebook. The options are you either post the same **** everyday or you piss someone off for forgetting them. Anyhow I’m sure you enjoyed it and never even noticed that I hadn’t posted. If you did, tough :emoticon-0105-wink:

That's exactly how Ashley funds Newcastle. Not sure what it is now but couple of years ago he was owed about £150m in interest free loans

That’s good to know as the state of the BCB is shocking nowadays, really needs a new lease of life, even the areas around the directors boxes is looking pretty shabby, just as long as it’s a separate budget for players they can do what they like, onwards and upwards HTL
