He’ll not be the only one coming
Going the whole new structure, what that is I don’t know
What I expect
new owners
Dof
technical director
Could only be a Chairman and maybe a very senior DOF on the boardI don’t know how you could get 2 above him mind unless a chairman is sorted
I still believe we’ll have a DOFYou must log in or register to see media
something like that magnus?
If I’m honest I’m hoping for the naming of sd before a manager, at least we know what direction we will be taking. Over the last couple of days and the two names that have been mentioned both are completely different, I cannot understand going from poyet to cowley (if it’s true about the brothers)
What reports and who
If reports are true, we have already got the SD sorted, and he needs to be heavily involved in choosing the right manager that he can work with. They should be a team, working together, identifying goals and BOTH working towards achieving them.
So we've tried the Udinese model with De Fanti, the Dortmund model with Donald/Methven, wonder what we'll try this time?
I took what he said as being one more on top of Speakman. So Speakman would fill one position, perhaps Technical Director or academy director, and then a DoF beside him to come in.I don’t know how you could get 2 above him mind unless a chairman is sorted
As an Academy manager or as DoF????? Two very different posts.People should be happy with this.
Very well thought of and has a good history of getting the youth into good positions.
Part of the plan, structures and ethos to change.
Never heard of him but I hope this puts an end to cowleys as they don’t want to work with this systemCould this suggest someone like Clotet could be in the running?

It sounds as though there’s a dof coming in so that’ll be a major help to have alongside himThe only negative I'm seeing (and I admit this is just based on a few comments on twitter from Birmingham fans) is people saying he was really good as academy manager but much less impressive when given a wider role. Given that's what he'll be doing here it's a slight concern. Hope (and I'm not saying I think it is, since I obviously don't know) it's not a case that he was promoted beyond his competence and is now coming here to do the same.
Certainly there's also plenty of positive sounding stuff though. And just getting a decent structure in place will be a major plus. With KLD seemingly not being the type to just come in and fling money at it I think we'll need to accept a bit of a slower, or certainly a less flashy, turn around then we'd hoped. That'll be a bit hard, given how sick everyone is at the minute, but I'm hopeful that ultimately it'll end up with us being a professional side with a clear ethos (likely a more data driven approach than before) and if we do start getting through the leagues, hopefully the structure in place will help us actually stay in the top flight (without losing **** loads and constantly battling relegation ) when we get there

I'm happy with a slow proper build, from the ground up, with a clear vision.... as long as we can see it implemented on the pitch and steady improvement etc. It's the best way to do it long term. The only negative I'm seeing (and I admit this is just based on a few comments on twitter from Birmingham fans) is people saying he was really good as academy manager but much less impressive when given a wider role. I said it before it’ll be a name not mentioned, no one had mentioned speakman and it looks like it’s his to turn downIf the reports are true that we are looking for a ‘Head Coach’ rather than a manager, can anyone identify any of the names on the bookies’ list as a Head Coach? Or will it potentially be a name not yet mentioned?
