I was told a name that we approached before Gus which was very re-assuring that we even tried for but got turned down by him. Suggests to me the new lot are spearheading the hunt because there's no way Donald would go there (£££). Also told Gus saying No came as a shock. No new names given but Cowley/Cook was their hunch, same person told me about Parkinson & McGeady situation so thought I'd pass on

I’m going for a bigger name than cook, Crowley or Johnson, if sartori and Dreyfus are taking this on then I think it’ll be someone that has not been mentioned now that poyet has gone. if however it’s other people doing the hunting then I’m gonna prepare myself to be disappointed
Hopefully they get back on the blower to Poyet and resolve the issues and I can make some money £200 on at 2/1 £50 on at 8/1
