Minority shareholders are very rarely involved and, at best, tolerated for their 'investment'.

As far as 'taking the shine off' is concerned I have to say, haway man. It's a million miles from shiny now. My focus would be entirely on the new owners, the people they bring in and the effect they have on results.

Some people seem obsessed with Donald & Methven and how they think Dreyfus will allow them to run him and the club.

I think it's absolute nonsense but that's their opinion and I'm not interested in trying to change it.

Board are clearly using the 'takeover' as a reason not to act. Disgraceful. Letting the football side wither will only lose fans. Many won't be back no matter what happens.

Moyes was far worse than Parky. At least Parky hasn't publicly thrown in the towel yet (even if his actions suggest that he has) and said that promotion isn't a possibility.

Thing is, is there any point replacing Parkinson only for the new owners to replace that replacement? We need the takeover completed as quick as possible.

My position is simply to not make a final judgement until we know the facts. Some people are sceptical, as in my case, others are getting carried away. Weve all had our fingers burned by doing the latter with regards takeovers.

What we’re seeing is typical Phil Parkinson football.

He’ll walk into another job regardless, probably a struggling team who will gladly go away to the likes Fleetwood and Doncaster and be absolutely buzzing with a point.

I'm not being difficult but that seemed to be precisely what you did in your opening post, and what people see as negativity. Despite honest posts from people and media reports you're choosing to dismiss all of that because of your hunches. That's fair enough but you can't be negative while insisting you're not.

If there’s some posturing between the sellers and buyers over some of the finer detail, is Donald allowing this to drift because he hopes the new owners wouldn’t want to take the club on if it got much worse and therefore hoping they blink first. Ie just agree to some of his terms to get in before it gets any worse?
That would be a big gamble and when people say he’s playing games, I hope it isn’t this one.

Donald is using the situation to eek out a few extras and hoping they'll crack to get him to sign ...

... he has form for it.

A see the methven text messages have been leaked on twitter , doesn't make good reading really could do with a clean slate from these cowboys mind . Not sure the timing of these coming out now is good mind

Aye mate, that is my personal feeling i have to admit but im holding off on my final verdict. If the guardian report is to be believed, those two are involved. That appears to be the best case scenario in this. The lads who are getting and posting info are, im certain, doing so in good faith. I am wondering what the original source of that info is.

Phillips got a bit of stick for saying it needs to be a clean break from SD and CM, but he's spot on.

I would obviously take someone else pulling the strings but we need these two chancers gone for good.

Deffo for someone whos profession is pr he really is **** at it , the second things started going wrong and fans stared asking questions they showed their true colours , can't stand the pair of them
