I never said he wasn't offered a new deal. It's the ****e that gets assumed from the rumours that does nobody any good, especially as it's all one way traffic. More so when write them in a way that leaves it open to only own the snippets, but try to imply special knowledge.
It happens too often, and there's a lot of angst built up for things that are just plain wrong.
I thought he was referring more to the impending financial meltdown some people suggesting is responsible for every decision. The ones suggesting there's an issue, rather than just the obvious observation that our income has fallen so our expenses will need to as well.
Be specific about your claim or be guilty of what you criticise.

Circular Arguments would be a good chapter title for the section on Allam's ownership of us when in future someone writes a book about the club's history.
