I'm very sorry to see Liam let go. He's never let us down on the field, has been a great ambassador for the Club in the local community, and would be a great back up player and ultimately a fine addition to the coaching staff. I never said he wasn't offered a new deal. It's the ****e that gets assumed from the rumours that does nobody any good, especially as it's all one way traffic. More so when write them in a way that leaves it open to only own the snippets, but try to imply special knowledge.

It happens too often, and there's a lot of angst built up for things that are just plain wrong.

 

I thought he was referring more to the impending financial meltdown some people suggesting is responsible for every decision. The ones suggesting there's an issue, rather than just the obvious observation that our income has fallen so our expenses will need to as well.
