I've had that injury, I'm older than him and you need lots of physio to re-arrange the small muscles around the knee to "pull it back into position".
4 months minimum IMO

so we sign a midfielder for big money who crocks his knee on his Premier League debut - sadly nothing new there.
Worst thing is it will likely always be weak from now.
Not done it myself but my lass dislocated her knee cap on Christmas Eve this Christmas just gone, and even after countless hours of physio/doctors/scans and what have you it's still f**ed after 8 and a half months and she can't run, jump or even kneel down on it yet.
Definitely need a new creative centre mid. More important signing than a striker now IMO.
Let's hope it's Daily Star bollocks.
Once you have dislocated a knee (or any joint) they are very susceptible to further dislocations. A family friend has now dislocated her knee cap 3 times - an unlucky hat trick.
fair dinkum - i hope this ^^^ is true. Fringers X'D.Iv'e just read all reports are wrong as the pysio is waiting for the swelling to go down and he is to have another scan tomorrow ... HDM
