Iv'e just read all reports are wrong as the pysio is waiting for the swelling to go down and he is to have another scan tomorrow ... HDM

I hope there is something in this. My source is close to Snodgrass and said this morning the reports are right. Lets hope nobody actually knows how bad it is yet!

It will be a shock IF we see Snodgrass before the october international break at the earliest.

Thankfully we have Quinn-iesta who is on top form.

Looks like at best back for Christmas/New Year, at worst out for the season, pretty gutted if that's the case. Wonder if Bruce will try and get a season long loan deal for someone as a replacement as well as the other signings he's wanting to make.

If is dislocated they'd have known the minute the physio visited him on the pitch. Scans will be to determine the extent of the damage.

Which if it is a dislocation will mean a long time out at best even if it hasn't damaged surrounding muscles and ligaments.

If the physio on the pitch suspected a dislocation he would have been off on a stretcher. Did he walk off?

Our players seem to always walk off rather than being stretchered and end up discovering later that it's actually a really bad injury. In fact I remember Ashbee flying into another tackle after doing his cruciate at Villa but before going off. Alllam cutbacks I reckon.

Pretty much season ending then.

Need a replacement.

Should have kept long. Sod's law, can't afford to replace both. Snodgrass more important to replace IMO. We were about as creative as a stick of dynamite in midfield last season, need to create more if we're going to have a decent season, snodgrass was that man now he's gone.

Edit: I'm well aware that a stick of dynamite in a place like Luton or East Hull could actually be considered a creative force. So for clarity, the stick of dynamite in question would be somewhere like York or Oxford City Centre where it would be classed as nothing but destructive.

Holy ****, feel sorry for you boys. 6 months out for your new 8m winger is gutting.

I think Snodgrass is a massive blow.

But disagree we sign a another winger. Ince, Elmo, Quinn, Brady, Boyd, Aluko, Robertson and Sagbo who can all play wide if needed.
