What the hell is all the noise about Fabregas? For goodness sake he's played 1 game and to my mind was nowhere near as outstanding as Maureen and the media are trying to make out.

From his performances in Spain and for Arsenal then we know he's one of those moody type of players who can't be relied upon to deliver consistently.

Fabregas was fantastic yesterday, that's why there's noise.

Yeah he was pretty good.
I know it was Burnley but you can only beat whats put in front of you.
Two assists including a wonderful through ball for Schurrle.
Good performance and MOTM.

He made two errors right at the beginning but after that good long ball up to Schurrle he was brilliant all over the park. I think he'll be our most influential player this season as he's the type of player we've been crying out for in that position for years.

Who asked you to be supportive? I'd expect a fair assesment of a game despite us being your rivals, I don't think it's even possible for you to give Chelsea any sort of praise despite playing some good stuff. Plenty of others on this thread seem to think we played well. It's YOU I'm aiming it at you thick tosser.

f**ing gobs**te

Contains the word T W A T in the middle, which is very apt considering who you're replying to.

No need for the insults fella, you can discuss or argue all you like but no need to get personal <ok>

Nope, our good football was merely because we played Burnley and Costa scored a really s**t goal. Astro knows best mate <ok>

Got to find it funny how annoyed some got at the Gerrard chant too. It's called banter ffs.

There was only two posters that brought it up. I was a third to talk about it but not in the way you mean, I pulled them up on it because its exactly why Chelsea fans do it, to annoy the Liverpool fans.

IMO, it's quite sad (not in the insulting way) that you can't sing about your own team and players tbh. If Liverpool fans chanted about another teams player every week I'd be seriously disappointed!

Yeah and someone used the word 'c**ts' in retort. Like I said, it's harmless banter and chants like that are sung all over the country.

I find it funny you say that, because we were singing about our own team for the entire game aswell. Wasn't hard to hear either. You'd think by the reaction of some that we sang about Gerrard for 90 minutes <doh>

I didn't watch or listen to it so I wouldn't know <ok> I find it strange that you want to sing about Gerrard though. If it was a one off I'd understand it, we've taken the piss out of Rooney in the past for example but we don't do it all the time.

Has Rooney ever said 'we must not let it slip' and then actually slipped the following week during a title challenge? Surely you see the hilarity from a rivals point of view? If Rooney or Terry did the same thing then you'd also be singing about it.

United fans still sing about Terry slipping to miss that penalty to this day. It's banter!

That's perfect as its a chance to show I'm no being biased as its Gerrard; I find Man Utd fans chanting about Terry slipping cringy too but at least that had some significance to their club as it meant they won the CL! What did Chelsea get out of Gerrard's slip? Basically, the "Liverpool didn't win the league" trophy...congratulations <applause>

PS...finding something cringy is different to being offended or annoyed btw. Chelsea fans (or any other fans) can chant what they like, I'll just laugh at them :)

I'd say everyone bar you has given him praise for yesterday's performance.

For goodness sake, you were playing a side new to the Premiership who left loads of space for him to operate in and didn't truly press him often enough. He really had an armchair ride.

The rest of what I said about him still stands.

A ****ing good laugh, just like the rest of the country.

If you can't say that Fabregas was excellent last night, then you either didn't watch the game or your bile filled eyes are deceiving you again.

Morning idiot. I'm allowed to make a considered opinion rather than just following the herd as you appear to do - but then thinking has never been your strong point <ok>
