Nope, our good football was merely because we played Burnley and Costa scored a really s**t goal. Astro knows best mate <ok>

Got to find it funny how annoyed some got at the Gerrard chant too. It's called banter ffs.

I find it funny that opponent fans come onto our Rival Watch thread and bitch that we aren't supportive of their teams <doh>

Oh well done Costa, I'm so pleased you managed to hoof in a lucky rebound, that's definitely more entertaining to me than Chelsea dropping points #whatworldareyoulivingin

Who asked you to be supportive? I'd expect a fair assesment of a game despite us being your rivals, I don't think it's even possible for you to give Chelsea any sort of praise despite playing some good stuff. Plenty of others on this thread seem to think we played well. It's YOU I'm aiming it at you thick tosser.

f**ing gobs**te

I dont think people want you to be supportive Astro. <doh>
I think you are just a tad too tribal sometimes. A goal is a goal. It still counts as a goal whether its a rebound, a deflection, a penalty.
Never mind, have some saltwater taffy and think happy thoughts my Liverpool supporting friend :emoticon-0117-talki

lol why is salt**ter filtered out in the swear filter???!

Water
Water

HAHA just figured it out
saltwater

Has the word T W A T in the middle <laugh><laugh>

You utter ****ing ****.

Honest opinions:

The goal you conceded was shocking so much time given.
Fabregas had a good game, though he played Burnley standard teams almost every week in La Liga. His pass was excellent, though aided by the worst offside line ever, and I think Ivanovic's pass to Fabregas in the first place deserves a lot praise.
The third goal shows Chelsea's have a number of threats from set pieces.
Got bored after that.

Yay!!
See you can do it!

It's a little early in the season for us all to get so techy with each other.

I'm watching the game live and Chelsea are losing, then Chelsea equalise through a deflection what more do you expect than a "FFS <doh>" response

It's not like I waited until after the game then went on the Chelsea board and posted a new thread "Costa is a lucky diving ****"

Well done. How about the football we played in the first half? Considering how offended you were with our style of play last season, surely it deserves some credit?

But I bet it's exactly what you were thinking <laugh>. I'm going to remember Costa's goal, becuase when Sturridge scores some scrappy tap in later on in the season I'll be here to ask what you think.

A goal is a goal, he was in the right place and stuck it in the net, all that matters.

have you read the bollocks we get on a daily basis on here, anything positive to do with our club gets trolled by 2 twats we know of at least.

i dont know if it happens on other clubs boards as i dont visit them, but the ****e we get on here sometimes gets boring for a lot of us, and ones who want to discuss our club cant as we get too many ****e arguments from people who dont even support the club.

not aimed at you bodanki, but yeah i know i should go on rawk if i only want to discuss with liverpool fans blah blah. doesn't matter if you like the liverpool fans on here, you must go on there <doh>

banter is fine, but most of the time its just ****e.

dont know how your game went so wont comment on the rebound or whatever it was, and good point about crouch and new signings, its better to get a goal asap, hope that doesn't bite us on the ass with lambert.

Surely you could just refer to the one on Sunday? It was hardly a screamer.

I would agree with astro that Costa's goal was scrappy and was definitely more of a scrappy goal than Sturridge's on Sunday - but to call it lucky is just idiotic.

Where Sturridge plays the back line perfectly then eases the ball into the exact corner of the goal off an inch perfect pass?

Nothing at all like Costa standing in the middle of nowhere, the ball taking a double deflection off a Burnley player and post, and Costa then swinging and uncontrolled boot which was fortunate enough to not slice wide or hit a player.

<ok>

Haven't seen Costa's goal so can't comment. Just wondered whether the goal from Sunday would serve your purposes.

At the end of the day, they all count, as they say.

As I say, haven't seen the Costa goal so can't comment. But Sturridge's goal was hardly goal of the season. Glad he scored it though!

What the hell is all the noise about Fabregas? For goodness sake he's played 1 game and to my mind was nowhere near as outstanding as Maureen and the media are trying to make out.

From his performances in Spain and for Arsenal then we know he's one of those moody type of players who can't be relied upon to deliver consistently.
