RIP Thread - December

I always enjoyed watching Brian play, the 2 things that stood out for me was his consistency as a player and Les Collinson's red face.

Odd the things you remember from all those years ago, yes Les Collinson did have a beetroot red face, I used to see him quite often as it was either his mother or mother in law who lived near to my family down Hawthorn Ave.

RIP Wally Swinburn. Great jockey and a humble man. Very sad and only 55.
Backed Lamtarra at 14/1 in a bar in Tenerife. Great race and win.

I have not been able to get on the board recently but was so sad to see before the CP TV broadcast that one of the heroes of my teenage years, Brian Bulless had passed on. Brian was not only a brilliant winger and dedicated club man with over 300 games for us, but he was a humble young fella. I remember watching him ride up to BP on his bike before a game, take off his clips, give me a smile, and go in to play. What a nice man. My condolences to all his family. God bless you Brian. RIP.

Longstanding local Hull jazz musician and promoter Ken Ford passed away earlier this week. He had been a mainstay of the local jazz scene for decades.

RIP.
