right, i said i'd reserve judgement until i was in possession of the facts so heres my view.
this isnt the first time this has happened in english, yet alone european and world football.
the only resemblance man city have with their club 15 years ago is the colour blue. their are now in a new stadium called the etihad, they have a shirt sponsor called etihad airways and they count etisalat, another UAE company amongst their other sponsors. they have foreign players, a foreign manager, foreign owners who are using the club as their toy. now theres a club which has had its soul ripped apart.
me personally, i prefer to look to the future. i was exited a few years back to hear of the new regions in rugby and although i do feel the malaysians have forced this upon us, it will feel wierd for a while given that the stadium, chants etc have blue everywhere. however the financial benefits and new futuristic element it brings should be embraced IMO

..away with the past and all the history just like that eh????sorry but why can't we achieve the same success with us remaining as we are but with of course the backing on bringing in the new players we need to get us up to that next level..once we have secured our spot in the premier i'm sure the malaysian market would happily support the blue cardiff city regardless..the whole thing to me sounds naff beyond belief and completely insulting to the fans and the history of the club..by all means spend for new players, increase the capacity when needed but don't change the clubs badge and kit colours..completely unnecessary..i know we've missed out in the playoffs three seasons in a row but the apparent overhaul of all things blue and bluebird STINKS FOR ME..
