But the requirement will be even stronger against Forest. It’s about ****ing time.......

Not half Stan...I will be there...going as a guest of a Forest fan. Sitting in the Brian Clough stand
Been told not to wear my colours and keep my mouth shut.

Whereas when JFH was our manager as you know I used to sit quietly, with my head in my hands groaning
Now I am a lot louder and shoutier. It may be difficult on Saturday....but I so want to win too...the end of a 100 hoo-doo (please!!)

Love the highlights.....

That was some miss by their center half from the corner, was wondering how he had so much space but when looking again one of the Utd players has Sylla in a bear hug which stopped him going with his man, crafty on their part and missed by the ref......who'd be a ref?

Glad the ref didn't stop the game for the keepers injury before the ball went into the net, that would have been the sort of thing that would happen to us!!!!!!!

Great comments from those who were there and I thought those of us on here last night during the game played a blinder........

First win at Forest coming up..........everything crossed.

Up the R's

We do seem a lot more resilient this season. We've lost four games ( One less than Sheff Utd ) and out of those four we've only lost one by more than one goal which was 2-0 to Norwich away. Resilient doesn't equal boring either, only Brentford have had more shots on goal than QPR in the Championship this season.

Antti's knee jerks from last night....

After missing Saturday's game, I was convinced Rangers would punish me by losing this one. But they didn't. Typical Rangers - draw with the bottom two sides, beat the top two.

1. IT IS ALL WORK, WORK, WORK, YOU KNOW: I haven't read a lot of comments on here yet, but I saw one or two saying that Sheff U were poor, they had injuries and so forth. Two things: Sheffield certainly don't have more injuries than we do, and more importantly they didn't look great because we didn't allow them to. The work rate of this team may well be the best of any QPR side I've seen play - it is phenomenal: Scowongoman may set the tone, but the rest of the squad follow suit.

Just enjoy the moment mate. No point getting into all that on this thread.

There bloody well is when you have to read the stuff about Holloway on here . Perfect timing I would say

A QPR fan should support win or lose

Taken 6 points great stuff
0 points then it’s the same as I see it as we are growing from a real darkness

Hopefully this works

From where we were sitting (the other end of the ground, admittedly)...Sylla looked to be nowhere near the action, and I was completely dumbfounded as to what had happened.
To be fair United made absolutely no attempt to blame Sylla...It was very clear he was not involved.
He just did the sensible thing, when no-one really knows what was happening ...he put the ball in the net.

It was a funny game. We really did not let them settle into their game...The press was amazing.
Interestingly...they came out in the second half, with increased vigour, and began to get a grip on the game.....and I could not see how we would hang on for 45 minutes.
We started calling for subsitutions (Wzoleck for Cousins, Smith for Sylla (the ball was mainly in the air....and our midfielders were losing out to their giants).
Ollie did make changes for those players...but bought Furlong on for Cousins, Mackie on for Sylla. (Manning for Wheeler was much later)...and to be really honest, it did settle the boat. By 75 minutes I was beginning to get confident we would see it out.

We had more and better chances than they did, even though they were obviously more desperate than ewe were.
Got to say Baptiste, Robinson and Bidwell are playing as an amazing unit....long may it go on.
The addition of Lynch back on Saturday...can only be a plus.

As said in another thread...at this moment to my mind, Ollie has a decision only to make on one position (Cousins, Wheeler, Furlong, Manning???...with Cousins the man in position). I hope no-one picked up a knock last night

Smithies
XXXX Baptiste, Lynch, Robinson, Bidwell
Freeman, Scowen Luongo
Conor, Sylla

Happy times in the QPRBeth household
How many seasons is that we've been promised a high pressing game?! Good things come to those who wait - eventually!!

Have to say the more I see Luongo the more I'm reminded of Gerry, same build, low center of gravity, crisp in the tackle, knows where the goal is (he just needs a bit more luck), great understanding with Freeman and Scowan (Stan and Masson).........the signs are good.

Nice clip in the highlights when his shot was clearly saved by the Keeper but the ref awarded a goal kick with Mas walking back with the ref saying it should be a corner then looking up at the screen at the school end and pointing the ref towards it with a grin on his face.......

I would have to agree with you there, Trammers.

Particularly since I made the comparison earlier in the season :emoticon-0105-wink:.

Oh get back in your bloody box DT. We're all entitled to comment on how we think things are being done. An awful lot of it is very positive, such as Ollie's passion and the way he's got the players really up for playing for the shirt. The midfield is one of the best in the division I should think.
However, if I feel that Ollie makes too many changes of personnel or formations, or that we don't really have any wing backs to play in his preferred 3-5-2 I'll bloody well say so.

I know what you mean, but imo he's got a fair way to go to be as good as Gerry in his pomp.
