Strange to see people suggesting that Robinson reverts to full back when others get fit again. I truly can't imagine any of our usual CBs doing a better job than Jack has delivered in the last few games. It's not uncommon for players to come to their best position through unexpected circumstances and I can see no reason at all for him to relinquish the spot while he's playing so well. I know Onuoha is much weaker at full back than CB but that may mean he has to wait for his chance rather than shoe-horning him into the side. Both Lynch and Hall offer more flexible options so they would be better placed for a return once available. Also, while recognising that Pavel is having a poor run of form, he would still be my choice in games where out-and-out wing backs are needed.

I wonder why the official site described our formation as 3 at the back? You'd have thought they might have asked Ollie?
Ollie probably says one thing then does another to try and confuse the opposition. Fine just as long as our players are clear on what he wants. It's worked well enough of late.

Wholeheartedly agree re Robinson, he's fast becoming our best CB. I'm not sure about Wszolek, though. I'd think I'd prefer to see Furlong or Wheeler at RWB.

Agree Robinson is doing really well at CB. I feel he could also be an upgrade on Bidwell at LWB. Something for Ollie to look at in training games maybe. It is good to have these possibilities for a change.

I only suggested it as I felt he would be our best and indeed only left wing back. As he's playing so well at CB I suppose we'll have to put up with Bidwell being there as a rather defensive wing back.

Recently returned from the world's capital city after a wonderful few days of culture and superb football.

Not as good in quality as the Wolves game, but perfectly played considering the strengths of the opposition (i.e. the physical attributes).

I would imagine that it was quite a few years ago that I sang the QPR win/Scum lose song at HQ, as well as the FIRST time for my boy who really enjoyed the chance.

Nice to have just read that Mrs Nines is ok after reading the first ominous post.

Play-offs, anyone?

Good to hear all the players are putting in great performances, but I think some fans may be getting a bit carried away......
who knows

Well he's as good a candidate to be a legend as any, so who knows. But he has been a huge bonus to have since he came. Unlike some he really looks like he is 100% concentrated on what''s going on around him on the pitch.

Exactly Col. But we will beat Forest 6-0, go on an winning run without conceding until the end of NEXT season, by which time we will have won the Championship. Premiership, FA Cup (twice) and the League Cup.

You have missed the Europa League (that we qualified for because of Mackie's Wembley hat-trick against the Scum).

I have us down for solving the Middle East problem during the close season too, Sheffo. :)
